I actually think your comparison supports my desire no? I DO want to use not 2 but even 5 gallons a mile by flooring the pedal - why? Because I have the spare fuel and I want to go faster. So taking this as a reference, (although not related but somewhat related) You can multitask more apps at the same time. (Imagine having 9 tabs on Google Chrome takes up 1.5GB, that means that you can open more without lagging (depending on CPU) That's one way. The second way is that to create a RAMDISK, use it as a SSD or HDD cache. Like 1-2GB, maybe more for larger drives can speed up performance. If you do not know already, 1mhz of ram (DDR3 REFERENCE) is 8 megabytes a second (ddr4 may be more efficient) so if you have DDR3 1600 it would be 12800Mbps which is faster than Samsung 980 Pro for reference so it would speed your performance a TINY bit. Maybe increase game loading times? Heck, even SATA SSD vs pcie gen 3 and 4 has no difference other than file transfer speeds.
