The fastest ways to earn money online often involve quick trading, scams, or exploiting game mechanics. There are no legitimate hidden caches of weapons or money in multiplayer maps similar to single-player experiences. Finding modders who drop large amounts of cash is extremely rare and usually not safe. Be cautious and avoid any activity that seems too good to be true.

Taking earnings from modders means you'll face a permanent ban, no matter your actions. Even without making any money, the rule stays in place.

I’ll share this with you: playing games, racing, and completing missions is the most rewarding approach. Heists offer great rewards if someone else handles the setup costs—it’s a lot of work, but it really motivates you to earn cash cards. If a modder hands you money, don’t waste it; you risk getting banned or temporarily banned for using modded/hacked funds. Just let Rockstar know you’re on board so they can address the issue. The optimal path is either buying money or grinding to get it.

If you need weapons or ammo, you can participate in intense battles and smash through containers to collect them. However, if you don’t have access to a firearm at the store, upon dying or running out of ammunition, it will be unavailable.

Everything costs a fortune and making money feels exhausting. They’re trying to push people toward shark cards. When the T20 was released, I went into a public lobby and stole some cash that was spilling out everywhere. Right after that, I bought my car and haven’t returned to public lobbies since Blizzard’s obsession with shark card money, especially after they canceled single-player DLC, has eroded my trust in them. I’ve always praised Rockstar compared to companies like Naughty Dog, but now I’m backing Ubi instead.

I never faced a ban and I used modded currency, though that happened a few months back.

what i heard is that it's just a fresh start, a few bad actors around a week back messed with people by giving them free money online, then everyone got banned until a really far future date.

You notice if you keep it up, that’s a problem, sure they can’t catch everyone, but I received a week ban for spending 600 mill from a modder.

It seems earning modded cash is becoming more challenging after they updated the anti-cheat system using Cunning Stunts. The best way to quickly gain wealth is by teaming up with a few committed players and playing Criminal Mastermind.
