Hello, I'm looking for affordable video editing tools that are easy to use. Movie Maker doesn't seem to offer a feature to trim video borders or add video-over-video effects like webcam overlays. Also, I'm having trouble converting stereo audio to mono since my file appears to be set up that way. I need suggestions for tools that can handle cropping video dimensions, trimming clips, and adjusting audio levels. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Lightworks offers impressive video compilation features. Generally, I don’t believe there are any affordable editing tools available based on my understanding.

You're referring to editing options for creating videos. Are you thinking of adding sound, adjusting clips, and compiling everything? If yes, Lightworks seems like a solid choice (though it does require some time to master). Including graphics might involve spending more money, but I'll let you know if I discover any free alternatives.
