I suggest starting with Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 for real-time strategy titles. Turn-based games are a bit more challenging due to their strategic depth, offering a steeper learning curve for some. The supreme commander 2 is relatively straightforward to learn, but after you get the hang of it, it becomes monotonous because it involves repeating the same actions repeatedly.
