Hey fellow Z270 enthusiasts, I was searching for a Z270 motherboard supporting 7700k with quad channel memory. It seems even the premium ASRock Z270 SuperCarrier only offers dual channel. Is this the only option available or did I overlook something? Appreciate the advice! Smile

The service supports only two channels. Dual channel options are available on HEDT platforms, but quad channel isn't currently offered.

Z270 supports only two dual channels at a time, which would require four memory slots if it has that configuration.

Z270 (also known as LGA 1151, consumer platform) only supports dual channel, not quad channel. You need a HEDT platform to access quad channel. Updated on June 3, 2020 by Void Master oof

The phrase seems unclear. Could you provide more context or clarify what you mean by "dt"?

The component connecting to memory, located on the CPU, only allows dual-channel operation. Dual-channel support is available with ThreadRipper and Intel HEDT CPUs, along with most server-grade equipment.

Yes, you're correct. Doubling the capacity to 32GB keeps the bandwidth unchanged while increasing the storage space.
