I observed a YouTube video in 1080p while downloading a 50 GB file in the background using Brave browser with multiple tabs open. I confirmed no other applications were running that could affect performance. The laptop is six months old, vents are clean, and placed on a ventilated table. If this isn't typical, possible solutions include checking for hidden background processes, updating software, or ensuring proper cooling if temperatures rise further.

Laptops tend to get warm on their own but this seems quite unusual. Hovering at +90 isn’t typical. If you’re confident no malware or extra apps are running, you’ll need to investigate the hardware itself. It would be best to take it to the place you bought it from or contact the warranty support.

I reviewed background applications. Next, I’ll run a malware scan using byte analysis. By the way, it only interacted with 98 for a moment.

Many people share their thoughts on forums, saying these descriptions make gaming laptops seem typical. I’m unsure if it’s really special or just common. I’ve used PCs all my life.

It's typical for a laptop with an AN515-45 model and a Ryzen 5800H to reach a maximum temperature of 91°C, though it doesn't last long at that level. You can still reduce the heat without losing performance. A positive aspect is that the system supports undervolting. TL;DR: You need a real benchmark to get a clearer picture, but that’s not the main issue. The key question is whether your laptop is fully updated. Many factors affect testing accuracy—like internet speed, background processes, and what you’re actually running. For instance, knowing your download speed, the type of connection (Gigabit vs 7Mb DSL), and what other tabs are open helps a lot. Also check your Windows version, update status, power settings, fan profiles, and whether Acer’s software like Nitro Sense is tracking it. Updating everything first makes testing much more reliable.

I've seen the video and temperatures are dropping, yet your GPU is still fluctuating between 89 and 93 during gameplay. Would it be better to revert and go through the instructions shown in the video?

I've refreshed everything on my laptop. The latest models from Acer are listed on their site. My internet speed is 90 Mbps. Most tabs were paused YouTube videos and a WhatsApp window. I'm using Windows 11, no updates were applied. Defender real-time protection is active and runs in the background. The laptop was connected during testing, with Balanced power mode enabled. Nitro Sense also checked, showing similar temperatures and fan speed unaffected by settings. Configuration seems to follow default options.

I haven't tried Throttle stop yet, but the tutorial I saw uses Intel's first-party tool (Intel Xtreme Tuning Utility). No clear reason not to—definitely worth a try.
