I've had my Surface Pro 4 for about 6 months now and I have been living with its crappy WiFi for the whole time and I've decided it's finally time to see if this isn't a unique issue. I have had multiple WiFi issues: 1. Whenever I put my surface to sleep for more than 10 minutes then wake it back up, it disconnects from any connections and I have to disable and re-enable the adaptor 2. Sometimes I click on the internet access symbol (bottom left) and no networks are found and I have to disable and re-enable again to resolve the issue 3. The WiFi can just randomly disconnect and I can't reconnect (even though my router is running perfectly fine) 4. Sometimes when I navigate the status section in the Network & internet settings, I can't click on anything and the whole page just freezes and I can't click on anything to do with resetting the wifi adaptor or anything. It's just so bad, does any other Surface user have this problem and/or a fix for this problem?
I recently attempted this, but the problem occurs intermittently, which complicates identifying the cause. I hope it resolves the concerns.
If updating the drivers doesn't resolve the issue, disregard the network settings, restart the device, and reconnect manually.
