Either: boost the i5-8600K to around 5GHz, switch to an i7-8700K or i9-9900K and push it to 5GHz, or go AMD if the Ryzen 4000 lineup is available. Matching a CPU’s core count and threads with a comparable AMD chip often yields better performance. AMD tends to lag behind Intel in raw speeds, especially when cores are similar—Intel can hit 5.0–5.3GHz while AMD caps around 4.2–4.3GHz.
