I need to replace my motherboard. Here’s what I have right now:
Processor: AMD FD6300WM6KHK 2011
Motherboard: M5A781-MLX-PLUS*
Graphics card: GIGABYTE GEFORCE GTX 960
Power supply: ANTEC 620w
RAM: KINGSTON 8GB DDR3 (KVR16N11/8)
I’m looking for a purchase from someone since these are my only choices:
- ASUS B250H ROG
- GIGABYTE B365M DS3H
- GIGABYTE GA-H170-D3H

I’m posting because I couldn’t find these boards on PCPartPicker... thanks!

Are you checking if the listed motherboards work with your processor? Since none of them match your CPU, they won't be compatible.

As mentioned by @minibois, these components don't fit your current CPU setup. Your system uses an AMD FX 6300 with an AM3+ socket, while all three boards listed are Intel 1151 socket models. It's unlikely you'll find a compatible AM3+ motherboard, so you might need to check the used market or think about upgrading to a Ryzen processor instead.

Checking for an AM3+ motherboard, typically models 970 and 990FX. Confirm if this is the correct board before diagnosing further.

I have an outdated setup and am looking to list it. Someone is already interested, but they can’t sell a non-bootable PC without a signal. I need to replace the motherboard. Should this ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ work?

Missing a signal might indicate the graphics card is faulty. Verify it. You should use an AM3+ socket board. The previous one you talked about could still function, though its value may vary by cost.

Here are some motherboards that fit the criteria: https://pcpartpicker.com/products/mother...sort=price. Most options are around 970 or 990FX, except for Asus models with names like M5A. You might also want to think about upgrading, which would need a new CPU and RAM.
