Hello, I purchased and installed a Supermicro x8dti-f mainboard from eBay, featuring two Xeon X5670 CPUs. After connecting the fans and power supply, the system starts but the fans briefly spin at full speed before stopping completely. There are no beep codes or alerts. I also tried another CPU without RAM, but the issue persists. Could you help me understand why this happens? I suspect a problem with the motherboard or power setup. Thanks! schulsi

Have you experimented with running tests on a single CPU? Place one CPU in Slot 1, keep the memory slots vacant, and leave the remaining slots empty.

Your SuperMicro board appears to be slow when uploading. The 1366GB stick seems to be taking a while too. It might just be the slot configuration. Double-check the memory locations you're using.
