Celeron models aren't designed for gaming CPUs. While you might be able to boost performance through software, you'll only experience increased heat and higher power consumption.

I would like to know if it's possible to overclock my CPU laptop. Can it be increased to 2.6GHz? Please show me how to do this. Don't rely solely on the "Best Answer" – I had the same CPU and followed the advice, but after checking software and comparing results, I realized it's not accurate. Usually, the maximum is around 2.1GHz. I've tried different methods over time, but the main issue remains heat, which limits how often I can use it. I found ThrottleStop helpful for beginners. To be honest, what difficulties did you encounter while overclocking your Celron? Did you notice any errors?

I would like to know if it's possible to overclock my CPU laptop. Can I increase it to 2.6ghz? Please show me how to do this. Don't just follow the "Best Answer" – I had the same CPU and thought the comment was right, but after testing software and comparing results, I realized it's not accurate. Most of the time my CPU goes from 1.6GHz to 2.4GHz, though usually 2.1 is my upper limit. Over time I've discovered better methods. The main issue is heat, which limits how often I can use it. I've also found ways to manage heat better. I suggest using ThrottleStop – it's very useful for beginners. If you're unsure about the trouble you faced when overclocking your Celron, let me know and check if there were any errors.

It seems you didn't fully understand what I was saying. While you can technically "software" overclock, in real-world use the benefits are minimal. Running at high speeds causes excessive heat, which slows performance more than it helps. For everyday tasks, a SSD is often more advantageous than dealing with the risks of marginal overclocking that can lead to crashes or BSODs.
