No one knows for sure if your 3200MHz RAM will work with an i7-9700K. You likely need to enable XMP profiles or overclock the CPU itself, not just the RAM.

According to @GodOfROG, Z390/390 is required for 3200MHz operation. XMP works well, otherwise adjust timings and drive voltage manually.

You don’t have to overclock your CPU if you enable XMP. It will automatically adjust your CPU and other components to support the 3200MHz speed. Just make sure your new RAM is also compatible with that frequency. Upgrading your CPU to an i7-9700K and increasing RAM from 2666MHz to 3200MHz should work well without needing manual overclocking.
