I chose the i5-9600k for its strong overclocking potential. Above all, I enjoy playing x Plane 11, a flight simulator that demands high CPU performance. For this game, stable clock speed matters more than features like hyperthreading or core count, and I found the i5-9600K to be a good fit within my budget. I've been keeping an eye on its price and it looks like I might find it for around £150 on Amazon.

Amazon UK? I've been checking out the i5-9600K there for the past two weeks. The best price I've seen is £220 on Amazon, but you can also find an i5 9600KF for £199.98 on eBay (really solid used condition many times).
