Hello! I was just working on a PC configuration in pcpartpicker. I noticed Crucial offers a 3600MHz CL16 with two 8GB modules for 40€ less than G Skill or Corsair options. After some research, it seems the choice often depends on using Micron E-dies instead of Samsung B-dies. While many builds pair this with a Ryzen processor, I’m curious if that’s ideal for reaching 3600MHz or if sticking with a higher-end CL18 from G Skill or Corsair (around 116€) would be better.

CL 16 performs more efficiently than CL 18 because of reduced delay.

I understand that. You were asking about choosing 3600MHz from a different manufacturer rather than the one offering it from Crucial for Ryzen.

Confirmed G Skill and Corsair were CL18; consider Crucial CL16 next.

Verify the motherboard's QVL memory compatibility before proceeding.

You're welcome. I wasn't aware of this. The page mentions it doesn't work with the B450 and X570 boards you were considering.
