I recently purchased a B450-F gaming ii for my PC build, only to discover it isn’t compatible with my CPU after buying it. The manufacturer advertised compatibility online, but the box didn’t confirm it. I consulted a technician who advised sticking with the original packaging and returning the item. I’ve double-checked the compatibility list on the B450-F, but everything seems to suggest it should work. To be safe, I’m deciding not to take the risk again.

It works with the latest BIOS updates. When purchasing in a store, confirm with the staff whether the system has recent BIOS support. You must have BIOS version 2605 or higher to use that processor.
