You're curious about whether the ADATA Ultimate SU720 uses SLC technology. Reviews suggest it does, but the price seems high for an SSD, especially at $82 for 500GB. It's not cheap compared to other options, and there aren't many SLC SSD listings available online. If you have any sources confirming SLC use, feel free to share!

It relies on an SLC cache to boost write performance. Most modern drives use this, making it more of a standard than a unique feature. It seems likely to be TLC NAND. Currently, there aren't any consumer-grade SLC SSDs available for purchase. This approach doesn't add much value given how effective TLC technology has become.

You wouldn’t know unless you checked the product details or reviews. Look for terms like "SLC" on the manufacturer’s website or packaging, and verify through independent sources before purchasing.
