A game where you assemble various components made of different materials to build a structure or fortress. The challenge increases as attacks come from all directions, requiring you to combine the appropriate materials and shapes for stability. It needs to be a 3D experience with attacks from every angle, making it engaging and rewarding as your fortress endures. I came up with this idea, and I believe it would be quite fun.

These defense games share similarities with Rust and Raft, where you construct a raft and protect it from threats like sharks. Subnautica is similar but adds exploration and storytelling elements. There are also Minecraft mods that capture this vibe.

That's a perfect description of tower defense. I’m not sure if there’s a game that matches every detail, but it’s similar to Castle Panic and can be enjoyed alone or with others.
