Hello, you're being more cautious about clicking suspicious links. With your Comcast dynamic IP, it's possible some information could still be exposed. Don't worry—your data isn't completely at risk, but it's wise to stay vigilant. If you're concerned about privacy or need advice on securing your network, feel free to ask. This isn't a technical support issue, but rather a general guidance topic.

Old IP addresses don’t provide much detail. If you obtain logs from your internet service provider, you can gather significant information, though this isn’t openly accessible. The IP associated with your current connection offers limited insight beyond the basic location and ISP for a home user.

Your IP address doesn’t reveal your exact street address. The only details anyone might find are the geographic location tied to your IP, such as the city and state where Comcast’s DHCP server is based. If you checked my Comcast IP, it would likely point to VanBuren Township, Michigan, which isn’t my current residence. The only way someone could learn more about you is if Comcast shared it, usually requiring a court order. Additionally, Comcast rarely changes your IP addresses—you might see the same one for months, years, or even longer.
