I run Chrome. Everything seems to work well with Google+ and Gmail, but it tends to consume a lot of memory—around 8GB.

Have you ever listened to opera? I use it, and it's worked perfectly for me after switching from Chrome in April.

You're using opera, but it doesn't display properly on certain websites.

I've relied on Chrome for four years without any issues or performance drops. It runs incredibly quickly and offers a wide range of custom settings. Most likely, hardware or driver problems are the cause if all those browsers encounter difficulties...

It doesn't make sense to contribute patches to Chromium or Firefox since they are maintained by their own teams, not external contributors.

Chrome... However, I’d appreciate a few alternatives.

I've looked into it and checked all the fixes. It keeps being a mess. For instance, sometimes my second monitor stream shows up while scrolling causes lag on another Firefox window. Basically, everything slows down when Flash is active—opening a new tab feels sluggish. If I quickly click back after a Flash page loads, Firefox might freeze and Flash could crash. Sometimes the player drops to 15 frames and blocks fullscreen or other settings. I've tried reinstalling all the recommended fixes from forums, but it's still not working well. Luckily, about half of it functions just fine. My computer isn't weak; it has an SSD, an i5 processor, and a GTX 660 Ti.
