Yes, software can trigger a blue screen. It often happens due to system errors or crashes caused by faulty applications.
Begin by launching Start, then select Control Panel. Select System twice, then go to Advanced settings. Navigate to the Advanced tab and choose Settings under Startup and Recovery. In the Write debugging information list, pick Small memory dump (64k). The next time this occurs, a dump file will be generated.
It was configured to generate a kernel memory dump at the first blue screen, but switching to a smaller memory dump didn't produce a valid Minidump file.
Refer to method A in your guide at the provided link. Check the system performance monitor and error log without needing dump files. Let me know if you find anything!
I'll attempt this guide and stay in contact, thank you for your assistance.

I'm reviewing the documents now, hadn't thought they'd be in French, but that shouldn't be an issue.
Quick check: Did you skip installing any drivers? I’m noticing a few issues—some Bluetooth drivers aren’t starting, one SMB driver is missing, and a media device isn’t loading its drivers correctly. Could you share a screenshot of your device manager? Also, do you have AVG installed?
What type of dongle is it? You will most likely have to download the software and install the driver. Also follow the instructions here for the SMBUS controller: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/964...vices.html Post back with the Hardware ID.
