Sorry, but I consider any game where they weaken the long-range weapons and make SMGs too powerful to be good broken. Unless they've improved that and fixed sniping properly (no more sluggish bullets), it remains broken. I’d try again but I’m not eager to wait 10 hours for a download. Unless there’s enough feedback from the community saying it’s actually fixed. Every time they release a patch calling it “fixed,” I’ve only seen it get worse. That’s what my experience has been. I don’t agree on size, but some maps in BF4 and BF3 have more space than Nuke Town and support 32v32 team deathmatch—though they’re definitely chaotic. I think COD needs a complete overhaul of its engine. Or maybe just stop playing it altogether. Has anyone else been through the BF4 update and noticed any real improvement?

The latest update seems to resolve most issues. They've adjusted the weapon settings within that patch.

It's finally come to this. The main issue has been the lag, aside from the netcode problems. I'm torn about whether it's worth installing again after three downloads. Maybe I'll check out some YouTube videos to get others' opinions.

They claim it's the largest patch ever. I feel positive about it.

Improvements and issues. Review the Battlelog discussion board. The latest update was mainly visual changes with almost no actual bug fixes, and it's creating significant problems. Performance drops sharply even on strong hardware. https://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/fo...995444463/ The new damage system, pushed without input from the community regarding CTE, renders any weapon under 800rpm nearly ineffective and prevents hits from being recorded correctly. The server simply ignores all feedback about it in CTE and just implements it anyway. Packet traffic is increasing dramatically, overwhelming the system and causing frequent frame drops. Be prepared for more deaths per frame. Keep an eye on the "Fix your PC" updates...
