I recently added an Ml240l RGB v2 to my computer. I observed that my motherboard only features 3-pin RGB connectors, while the fans need a 4-pin version. The only alternative is using Molex, which my power supply unit lacks. Is it safe to convert a SATA cable into a Molex connector using this cable, as some warn it could be dangerous?

RGB headers differ from power supply cables, but the adapters remain secure when purchased from a trustworthy brand. StarTech generally meets expectations based on my experience. Feel free to share photos of your setup—RGB connectors, fan plugs, PSU cables, and motherboard—to get a more precise response.
