Hello! I'm a big follower of your YouTube vlogs about computers, and I'm from the Philippines. I brought up this problem because I'm facing an unusual issue with my system. I purchased two 2X8GB 3200 Mhz TUF Vulcan modules to replace the old 16GB one. They're identical products, same speed, same distributor—but when I switch the BIOS to profile mode 1 (D.O.C.P.), the computer crashes and restarts back to BIOS instead of booting normally. After turning it off, it works again but now runs at 2400 Mhz as specified by JDEC for the module. Could you help explain why this happened? I don't want to use it in overclocking at 3200 Mhz anymore. You can check the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLr-LmtZnKQ. I also attached the Thaiphoon Burner for reference. Thanks!
The kits were combined accidentally. Running them together isn't recommended since they weren't designed for simultaneous operation at that pace. The concern isn't just about different memory modules, but also the possibility of similar failure risks despite being identical.
