As the title suggests, are there APUs priced around 4000/5000 available outside OEM options like this one? An 8-core Ryzen with built-in graphics could be a solid all-rounder, but I only see them sold with a mediocre HP.

I haven't encountered 5000 series APUs in desktop versions, though you can obtain the 4000 APUs from certain suppliers. They tend to run a bit slower compared to their non-APU alternatives, but they're ideal for file servers or applications that don't demand high graphics performance.
