Your CPU might show some slowdowns, though it shouldn’t be very noticeable at higher resolutions and when the GPU is busy. Check the 7700k numbers and reduce the value slightly; this could match what you see.

It only adds a little because on Mondays the game hits my 2700x, which pushes performance to 4.2ghz across all cores. I tested 4K and it didn’t really help much.
