Your B350 Tomahawk works with your Ryzen 5 2600 and Corsair Vengeance LX 2666MHz RAM. Whether the 2666 is enough depends on your workload—if you're doing heavy gaming or multitasking, it might be sufficient, but for the best performance consider upgrading to a higher frequency if possible.

People generally insist on 3200Mhz or higher, as it’s clear that Ryzen’s extra gains from memory speed start to fade around 3000 or 3200Mhz. With your existing 2666Mhz RAM, it doesn’t make sense to invest another $60 or more for a upgrade to 3000/3200 unless it really fits your needs. There are many RAM speed charts available online; you might want to search them to see if the cost difference justifies the improvement for your situation.

Just open as much as needed, aim for a clear boost in performance. Good luck with the noticeable improvement!

They mentioned it’s not necessary to worry about it and everything will be fine, but I don’t share that view. Getting a 3200Mhz RAM is really important for maximizing your PC’s performance.

only when it matches the top-tier specs can we evaluate, then adjust back to 2133 and check for differences against a mid-range system.

Ram use refers to how much of your computer's memory is actively being used. For multitasking—like launching several apps at once—it helps maintain stability by ensuring smooth performance, though too much usage can affect speed.

Do you notice slow performance? More clocked RAM can improve Ryzen, but if you’re not experiencing problems, upgrading isn’t necessary. What are you wondering about?

RAM stands for Random Access Memory, offering significantly quicker performance compared to HDDs or SSDs. This allows your PC to quickly load open applications, enabling the CPU to access them rapidly. Similar to VRAM in GPUs, which is even more efficient, games store large amounts of data there for fast delivery to the GPU core. RAM handles all system functions, while GPU VRAM is reserved only for rendering tasks that require immediate processing on the GPU.

Yes, it should work well. The 2666MHz RAM pairs nicely with the Ryzen 5 2600 and RTX 2060.
