Hello everyone. A few days back I posted about a loud noise in my computer that seemed to indicate something was wrong. At first, I didn’t pay much attention since others confirmed it wasn’t serious. But the sound kept getting worse, so I looked up online. It turned out coil whine was likely the cause. Some forums mentioned this issue with Gigabyte boards when RGB is enabled for RAM. I tried turning off the RGB in Gigabyte Fusion 2.0 and noticed a big improvement. This made me wonder why this happens. Do you have any thoughts? Thanks in advance,
CJ
Likely the RGB's PWM signal is responsible for the whine during power delivery.
Huh, intresting. Do you think theres a way to have the RGB on without that annoying coil whine? Thank you for your reply.
