PCSX2 is being developed for the PS3. If it functions there, I believe they can create versions for PS3 titles as well. Just need to tweak a few settings.

It varies by game, but usually I didn’t hit 60 FPS on Dolphin on my old Phenom II X6 T1090 anymore. Now with the 4790k everything runs smoothly at 60 FPS. Both systems used the same GTX 660 Ti card.

They limit the frame rate to around 30 fps. LoZ doesn’t handle more than that. My system’s CPU and GPU aren’t under heavy load, so performance wasn’t affected.

I could have mentioned full frame rate rather than 60 FPS. Mistake!

Absolutely, FPS isn't a big deal for me. I own consoles for games that aren't available on PC.

I recently played the Rainbow Six Siege Beta on my friend's system (FX-6100 and GTX 960) and noticed it struggled significantly at 30 fps. That wasn't ideal, especially since he has an AMD processor. Overall, it didn't set a positive impression.

I’ve been using a game that claims to run at 60 FPS, but in reality it’s only 30 FPS, and I’m fine with that. However, people experience things differently around the globe, and we each have our own perspectives.

It's reasonable. Honestly, I'm quite sensitive about first-person shooters, yet I'm fine with LoZ: The Wind Waker at 30 frames per second. It runs smoothly.
