According to my understanding, I should update the BIOS for this MB to support the 7800X3D CPU. I’m still unsure whether to opt for a 4070 or a 7800 cooler, and whether to choose an AIO cooler or an air cooler. AIO coolers seem appealing but others suggest they may not last long compared to air coolers, which are less attractive in appearance.
What are your thoughts on using an air cooler such as the Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120SE? Or are there other options worth considering?
Ha! I was only interested in reading the review about Tom's for the Phantom Spirit 12 SE. It's excellent. Just as effective at cooling as the Arcte Liquid, but the Spirit 120 is really good too. And it's by far the best air solution for noise, price, and performance.
After switching to AIO on my current build, I don't think I'd want to go back to air cooling again, given its large space requirement and the risk of raising internal heat depending on orientation. There are definitely pros in each cooling method.
Do not stress over bios support.
New motherboard stock will come with the most recent bios at production.
It also features a bios flashback capability.
Regarding air cooling versus AIO, I prefer AIO unless an air cooler can match its performance.
My processor isn’t excessively hot.

AIO coolers aren’t permanent; pumps can fail or become clogged over time.
Eventually, air will seep into the tubes and replacement may be necessary.
Consider a lifespan of around five years.
Comparing the 4070 and 7800, they deliver similar results. I recommend sticking with your current setup—either NVIDIA or Radeon.
The driver environment differs and requires some adaptation.
I will actually go with Phantom Spirit.As far as i know Corsair RM850X is ATX 3.0 and after some reading all these PSU are more or less the same,i might be wrong.
Why do you think im overspending with H7 flow ? if there is something cheaper but better i would appreciate if you tell me
For my needs i think 1tb is more than enough,why not pro series ?
