This situation is becoming quite frequent, so I'm weighing the option of returning to W8.1. There are 353.62 drivers currently in use, and MSI indicates 5300MB of VRAM is being utilized per card, despite each card only having 4GB. Anyone have any solutions or advice?
I've repeatedly returned to version 8.1. The beta caused identical problems; NVDA drivers would crash from space each time I fixed it. Same issues again! Setting up a hackintosh was slightly easier
Left, right, and center. I’m used to launch day—probably expecting some hiccups—but so far, Windows 10 seems determined to patch up issues that keep failing.
I faced the same issue and my friend did too, but we managed to resolve it. My approach was different. First, I updated my drivers via Geforce, then proceeded with the fix. Click the Windows icon, go to Device Manager, expand Display adapters, right-click your GPU, and select Update driver software. It may update your drivers or tell you they're current, prompting a restart. I'm not a magician, so try this if you want, but it won't guarantee the latest version. However, it should stop the crashes and get the drivers working. Edit: This usually doesn't install the newest drivers, but it often resolves the problem.
