Hello everyone, I'm just starting out with PC building and have recently assembled my second machine. I purchased a Gigabyte EAGLE-AX Z790 motherboard, which came without a manual or driver installation disk. After setting up Windows 11, I installed the NVIDIA app and updated my graphics card drivers. So far, everything appears to function properly—Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB ports are all working. I haven't added any additional drivers beyond what's needed for the motherboard. Could it be that the drivers were installed automatically via a Windows update? Also, are there any aspects I should verify to ensure everything remains stable? Thank you in advance for your advice.
Thanks for the input. If everything functions smoothly, I think it’s fine to proceed. It seemed unusual since my initial PC came with a driver installation disk, but I can see why it might feel unnecessary now. The Gigabyte control center still seems useful—usually I steer clear of bloatware unless absolutely needed.
Occasionally you may need to add software, such as driver packages. Visit the device manager to verify.
You have some unidentified items listed in Device Manager. I'll try installing Gigabyte Control Center to check its impact.
