Hello everyone, I'm checking if adding mods like cars, tools, etc., is safe for my GTA 5 game. I'm worried about possible issues such as crashes, GPU driver problems, or game stuttering that could make it unplayable. Please let me know if you have any advice or suggestions. Thanks!

Except if the program is genuinely malicious, it shouldn't create issues (unless the code is exceptionally complex).

Lightweight custom builds should avoid disrupting gameplay. When generating many objects—like simultaneous explosions or numerous collisions from spawned entities—the physics engine becomes strained. High-resolution texture packs can also increase graphics card load if they exceed the original settings. Before installing mods, check community feedback for reports of system issues. I recently added the Menyoo mod for GTA V on a 860M processor and it ran smoothly without noticeable slowdowns until I started spawning many cars and flying objects with explosions. Even then, the impact was minimal. Hardware problems are rare unless the mod contains harmful code; otherwise, physical damage is unlikely.

The naturalvision mod and its trainers may affect stability, potentially leading to game corruption if not properly tested.

They've heard about users with Nvidia maxwell GPUs facing problems after running modded games like Skyrim, but it seems to be a rare occurrence. It's probably not caused by the mods themselves. If you're having software issues, simply reinstalling Windows should help.
