Servers are failing everywhere. I managed the site for a large MC community with 15k members. After years of success last year, it began to collapse, forcing us to shut down our MC servers and downgrade our dedicated ones. We went from three constantly busy servers with over 120 members to just one with 20. The official closure was on February 10th. Most people I know have their own small servers for friends; I still run a private FTB server for my staff, but we’re no longer involved in MC at all.
Modded Minecraft is the current trend. I probably won’t return to the original version anytime soon.
Same here, never used it since 2013. Isn’t it just the lack of updates? It was... too many changes. All that stuff and stuff, ugh. I’d rather get the beta version, please! Another thing is, all my friends aren’t playing anymore, so yeah.
I completely understand your point. Solo gaming isn’t very enjoyable. We usually have fun with friends, but we tend to lose interest soon. Still, whenever I haven’t played much, I feel the need to join a solid survival server with a few of my friends. But I always end up not doing it, haha.
