I play on a 46-inch screen, and it's fine as long as the resolution matches properly.

Interesting update here—(or maybe you just shared it again). The 970 can definitely handle running games in 1080p.

I benefit from higher resolution options in many recent releases thanks to my settings. Watching 1080p on an HDTV already feels limited due to the compression. Viewing 1360p lets me enjoy smoother gameplay with a solid refresh rate. I prefer not to see low resolution on a native 1080p screen, as it would appear very poor.

I often lean in closer to the screen while playing games. I own a 60-inch flat-screen TV, which makes me play more frequently in front of it. However, I don’t want my consoles too close to my PC to avoid overheating the room. When I want to play on my PS4, I usually have to sit down. Sometimes I stand up just to get a better view, which reminds me of when I was younger.

My device is linked to your 50-inch screen, but I haven’t seen any problems as you mentioned. I’m seated near my cozy chair, with my eyes about 6 to 7 feet away from the display.
