I continue to enjoy Red Alert 2 or Dune 2000 on my laptop, even though I'm often on the move, though not very frequently.

I previously enjoyed Command and Conquer Generals, which was one of my favorites, before I tried C&C 3 plus DLCs and 4, which felt quite disappointing.

Ashes of the Singularity is solid, I've enjoyed most of the Command & Conquer titles too. Generals and Tiberium Wars stood out as the top picks.

Supreme Commander has its strengths, but I think you shouldn't waste time on SupCom II. It simplified things too much and made the game feel too straightforward. If you're interested in real strategy—like planning attacks and defenses—I'd suggest going with SupCom and its expansion, Forged Alliance. It might be a bit tricky at first, but it becomes really engaging once you master it, either solo or with friends. If you plan to focus on single-player battles, consider downloading the Sorian AI Mod, as it enhances competition by making the AI more challenging. Starcraft is another solid option, offering a balanced mix of different species.
