Gain really enjoys Gentoo. /s On a more serious point, I've researched Gentoo and opted for Arch or Debian instead.

I never made it to actually test it, because the concept of Gentoo doesn’t really appeal to me. If you understand, I’m using the Debian version for stability (which is funny—Debian tends to crash a lot...) and the Arch version for pushing boundaries and trying things that aren’t always ready-made.

I favor Debian a lot. It offers more software options, and Steam works well on Ubuntu, allowing me to set up dedicated servers for Steam games.

Gentoo arrived at the perfect moment in my journey. I was working with Red Hat 7.3 and was tired of package conflicts. Switching to Gentoo really boosted my Linux skills. When it comes to building from source versus getting binaries, a headless server makes it quick. For a desktop setup, I’d prefer something other than Gentoo.
