I'm planning to purchase Witcher 3 since it's discounted and seems entertaining. However, I'd appreciate feedback from players who've actually played it, as Steam reviews aren't very helpful. Any insights or opinions would be really valuable. Thanks!
witcher 3 is great for fans of witcher 1 and 2, if you enjoy RPGs you'll love it, even if you're not familiar with the earlier titles. I haven't played it yet but I'm planning to, and I saw my brother play it too—super impressive!
It takes around 70 hours or more if you tackle a few side missions. I've gone through the game twice, wrapped up the main expansion, and still have plenty of side quests and story content left—about 200 hours in total. The combat system is quite varied, offering many different approaches. Be sure to gather health potions early on; I didn’t realize they existed until my first run-through, and surviving relied heavily on scavenged food, which was extremely tough.
I’ve completed the main storyline three times and finished both expansions. Even though I never played the first two games, this one really stands out. It’s impressive how much fun it can be without playing the earlier titles.
