I checked my current setup and it should work fine with Gen 5. You’ve got a solid 1800x, 16GB RAM, and a 3070 chipset—plenty for modern games. Playing New World and BF2042 gave you decent FPS, but the drop below 50 was noticeable. Your 1440p ultrawide screen is great for visuals. Between the 5600G and 600G CPUs, the 600G seems worth it if you want better performance and future-proofing.

The 5600X is suggested. Higher clock speeds and increased cache offer better performance compared to the 1800X. In summary, all three models deliver strong improvements, but the 5600X offers the best overall value.
