Hi, I'm weighing the decision to upgrade from Intel to AMD. I'm unsure if it's a good move. Here are my current details: CPU, cooler, mainboard, graphics, memory, storage, and how I use the system. Right now I play many FPS games like "Call of Duty Black Ops - Cold War," use it for video editing occasionally, and mostly for gaming and remote work. I'm considering switching to AMD and want some advice on whether the investment makes sense.

Except for the Memory, there is nothing.

It doesn't make sense to upgrade for only a slight performance boost. Focus on optimizing your existing setup since you already have a good motherboard and cooler.

With an 8700k you already have a solid foundation, making anything under 5900x seem difficult to support.

Nope. Just in case if u want to spend money and have fun - U can go for Arctic aio. Other than that I don't see much of an upgrade. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
