This seems unusual but could be expected. The device also produces a faint buzz during operation. I recommend paying attention to the subtle sound 20200613_221514.mp4.
You seem to be experiencing some unusual issues with your new PC. It’s understandable to feel anxious, especially since it’s your work machine for 3D modeling. The clicking sounds could be from the GPU or power supply, but they happen occasionally and are usually accompanied by fan noise. I remember struggling with similar problems on a basic system with an I3 processor. It’s normal to worry about such things, especially when you care deeply about your equipment. You’ve tried to learn on your own, but it’s still unsettling when things go wrong. If you’re open to advice, sharing more details about your specs or symptoms might help others understand what you’re dealing with. You’re not alone in this—many people face similar challenges with high-end systems.
From where I sit, I don't hear anything out of the ordinary other than two very faint taps, the first one at about 3 seconds in and the second at about 5 seconds in. Sounds like someone hitting the side of a desk with a pencil without an eraser on it. As for any whining noise, sorry but it just isn't there. Overall, it's a pretty quiet system and once you put the sides back on the case the noise with most likely disappear. It must be coil whine or something pretty close to it but like I said, I don't hear anything out of the ordinary. But if you have any problems with your graphics, you could always just ship me the RTX 2080 Ti, I would love to put that in my system to check it out. (LOL)
It's an OEM model 2080ti featuring a reference PCB, which is the usual cost range.
