I really don’t want to push performance too much right now, but I’ll hold off on overclocking until Cyberpunk 2077 drops. For now, I’m okay with Turboboost.

I think the Aorus Pro offers a marginally improved value compared to other options. If you prefer not to upgrade, either choice works fine—even the budget Gaming X can handle a 9900k at stock.

okay so aorus pro it is! will i damage any parts by using the cpu or any of the parts for using this mb for another couple weeks because i'm waiting for my cheque to come in the mail at this time and it might be a couple days or a week or 2. i would hate to have to RMA something before i upgrade the mb i dont exactly know what is wrong with this motherboard

Only the stock version? That's a huge waste of CPU power... Instead, try lowering your CPU voltage first. Use offset mode for adjustments and reduce it gradually until it crashes—P94 smallFFT within about 5 minutes. After that, increase the voltage by 0.05V, which should stabilize everything.
