Hello, I’m considering replacing my GPU after the MSI Radeon RX 460 4GB fan stopped working. My motherboard is an Asus B150M-A/M.2 Micro ATX LGA1151. The CPU I have is an Intel Core i5-6500 3.2 GHz quad-core processor. I’m thinking about the Asus GTX1650 with 4GB GDDR5 and want to know if it fits. Also, I’m unsure if there’s a better GPU option at a similar price, so if you have any recommendations, please let me know. Thanks!

You don’t have to invest in a brand-new GPU just because a fan stopped working. There are ways to install an aftermarket fan for your GPU.

You can connect any fan to the GPU and link it to the motherboard header. What power supply do you have? Can you find an RX580 or RX590 with 8GB storage at a lower price? If you're using an 1650, make sure you get the GHD6 model. Unless your PSU has very low wattage, opt for the RX580 or RX590 8GB... Don't stress about the motherboard (any PCIe GPU works), focus instead on GPU space and PSU capacity.

Thanks! I managed to use Linus's tutorial and got a new Arctic F8 cooler. I secured it with zip locks and it’s functioning great!
