Need detailed specs including cooler type, ambient conditions, case design, fan configuration, and software reliability. Ryzen processors require tools like HWInfo64 or Ryzen Master for accurate temperature tracking, while other apps often have inconsistent performance.

You're experiencing fluctuations in your system's performance, especially with the BIOS settings. It sounds like the ambient temperature is affecting things, causing the core frequencies to shift between 4GHz and 5GHz even when idle. You might need to tweak the BIOS parameters to stabilize the settings.

Temperatures inside are below 30°C, but I installed the code and it still rises to 30–50°C even when idle.

The room temperature is currently your level. It can range from a cool 18°C to around 30°C depending on the weather. Coolers maintain CPUs slightly above ambient, so if your space is 10°C warmer than someone else's, your CPU will be 10°C higher. This is normal. The Ryzen boost feature increases performance significantly and reaches full speed when you start using it. Background activities or mouse movements trigger a boost to feel more responsive. At about 40°C, that’s roughly what they idle at under an average 21°C ambient, keeping your temperatures consistent.

It seems like the system is reacting to a high temperature of 50°C. If the Task Manager isn’t indicating any CPU usage for a short time, it might point to something affecting performance.

These processors usually run warmer on average compared to their non-3D versions... yes? I recall all discussions on forums mentioning X3D chips are hotter than typical Ryzen non-3D CPUs. As noted before, they tend to be more responsive and with even light activity (like when installing COD, you see it on your screen), the voltage at boost frequencies increases, which affects temperatures even during minimal use. It's simply a CPU that stays warmer than average because of the 3D stack built on top of the die. Unless I'm wrong.

For the 5800X, temperatures were consistently higher overall. On the other hand, the 7800X tends to be noticeably cooler than its non-3D versions, especially when under load, thanks to its larger voltage and power capacity. Idle temperatures remain fairly similar between the two models, though not significantly different.
