When I run any game, my GPU works at about 50-60% while my CPU stays low at 5-10%. Is this typical? My setup has a 5900X and an ASUS RTX 3060 Ti. Updated January 6, 2022 by ebprince the computer nerd who plays other games.

Consider the games running and their multi-core CPU support. Review your thread usage to determine if you're using just a few cores at full capacity during gameplay.

I mainly enjoy casual games, and Roblox is the one I play the most—it's a single-core experience. That makes sense!

Sure, that's a valid point. 5900X might be too much for Roblox.

It's typical, particularly when there are no problems. (It often depends on the game and settings.) My top pick is a scene where the game crashes at frame 5, starting as a WiiU title in Steam. Why would it need so many resources? It doesn’t... yet weaker systems might still run into issues.
