Soldier of Fortune (2000) returns in Castle Wolfenstein (2001). The titles are exclusively available on CD. Modern systems might need updates to function properly; widescreen support is possible. PC Gaming Wiki should likely provide patch details.

It's not happening, they don't even develop games for those platforms anymore.

And my top GC and Wii titles (doubledash and radiant dawn) are selling for 50-250€ on eBay... Your discs are worn out from use already. I doubt the PS2 will fit well in the retro scene, and some of these games look pretty bad.

It’s the appeal of the PS2 period, I believe. Many titles featured characters with a rough, pixelated style and limited movement, lacking smooth animations.

At first, I was really amazed by the visuals in San Andreas... I didn’t realize how simple they were.

The classic battlefield titles perform adequately.

That title instantly came to mind—every PC gamer must try Crysis 1 to understand its impact in 2007. Running it on built-in graphics would have been impossible.

It really stands out though, even if it’s not very well optimized. God, Crytek is the only one who makes our PCs work just fine through gaming!

This game damaged two of my Acer (AMD) laptops that had separate graphics cards.

When you begin searching for more classic first-person shooters: Far Cry 1 (the top pick in the lineup), Duke Nukem 3D F.E.A.R. (the original one I enjoyed), and I’m hoping the Source engine will make its way back to GOG eventually.
