AMD FX-8320 with Gigabyte and Corsair components is being upgraded to a higher performance setup. The question checks if a 600-watt PSU can support overclocking the GPU to around 4.0 GHz without overheating or causing instability.

I'm checking the source and details of the product. It's a ready-made item, priced at a specific amount.

I'm from a different place, and I have a specific budget in mind. Are you from Australia too?

I'm actually thinking about building this. Perhaps next month. The budget should be around $650 to $700, maybe a bit lower.

A great selection of components will perform well.

I might be mistaken, but it seems 990 is meant for crossfire. Wouldn't it be better to use a 6300 with a 970 board and aim at a 280x?

@ Captain_Slow since my screen handles 1280x1024 at 19 inches for optimal performance. I won’t upgrade to a new monitor, so the R9 280X seems unnecessary.
