I plan to increase my internet speed to 250 Mbps and will likely need to upgrade most of my home switches, which are currently limited to 100 Mbps (10/100Mbps). The TP-Link TL-SG105 seems suitable? It’s mainly for splitting the internet connection and won’t be used for data transfers, though I might set up a NAS in the future. I’ve faced issues with TP-Link access points requiring restarts every few days, so I’m cautious about that brand. Other options from different manufacturers are possible.

Most unmanaged switches from trusted manufacturers work well. I haven’t encountered any problems with them, even with TP-Links. There are more than 100,000 reviews on Amazon, indicating they’re generally reliable.
