B450 won't receive official updates for Zen 3 until around January, at the latest. A few enthusiasts have tested these chips on boards dating back to the B350s, though it's not widespread or dependable.

I share your view. I plan to purchase the 5600x this Christmas and wait for an update for B450 boards. If they don’t release it, I’ll consider buying new boards. Thanks for the update! I might try the non-X version if it becomes available. Otherwise, I’ll go with the 5600X and adjust settings as needed.
