I'm checking if I can achieve 4k at a consistent 60fps with my current build. That's why the upgrade was made initially. If it works, I expect a slight reduction in visual quality, aiming for medium settings in most major games. I've only tested AC Origins at 4k on top settings and experienced significant frame drops.
It really depends on the games you enjoy, but I believe you'll experience a better frame rate in Overwatch compared to Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Only in extremely visually striking games does this achieve 4k at ultra settings across nearly all titles. My Strix 980 TI handles 4k ultra in many contemporary games. Simply remove non-essential options like anti-aliasing (not required at 4k).
