I’m considering grabbing a Rift, but I’m not sure if my setup can support it. I aim for a smooth 60fps performance, and graphics won’t be the main focus—mostly sitting games will be played, with extra sensor specs like a Pentium G4560, 8GB DDR4, 4GB RAM, Windows 10, and an ASUS GTX 1060. The motherboard is likely to run Arizona Sunshine and Superhot most of the time.

The processor might not have enough power, but it should work fine.

You'd face a CPU limitation even with a budget, so I'd opt for an SSD for startup and an HDD for bigger files.

It's really frustrating not getting a rift, honestly. I don't mind the slow loading as long as it takes under five minutes.

The processor is actually quite capable and should function well.

They mentioned the CPU needs improvement. It seems a refurbished CPU would work well for performance, or a recent Ryzen 3 would be better than the G4560 which is too expensive for its capabilities.

There could be a CPU limitation in certain games, though this varies. A Ryzen 3 1200 could work well if its cost has decreased in your area.
